• Information That You Provide Us We accept and store any information that you submit on MonkeyWrenchProShop.com or by any other means. For example, you may provide personal information when you place an order, enter a giveaway, request a publication, or contact us. How We Protect Your Information

We utilize standard encryption/security technology to protect data transfer and our information systems are treated with the highest regard for security. In addition, we limit access to customer information to only authorized personnel.

Your Order & Fraud Protection

In the event of a criminal investigation or a suspected illegal activity, we may be required by law enforcement agencies to share certain personal information. Because we are interested in protecting you from credit card fraud and keeping our prices low all orders are subject to review by our fraud detection department. As part of this review we may require that your order ships to the billing address of your credit card or an authorized alternate address. We may also need to call or email you to further clarify any questions we may have.

The billing address of your card is the address that your monthly statement is mailed to. It is important that you provide us with this address correctly because we use this address in our verification process. If for some reason you cannot have your order shipped to your billing address you may contact the card company and have them add an alternate authorized address to your account. We will be able to verify this address when we process your order.

Most banks will not allow an alternative address to be added to your debit card. If you need to have your order shipped to an alternative address we encourage you to not use a debit card.

The safety of your payment and personal information is a top priority to Monkey Wrench Productions. Our software uses the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) security and is among the best software available today for secure ecommerce transactions. All personal information including name, address and credit card number are encrypted to ensure the confidentiality of your transaction. We use Authorize.net, the premier credit card gateway, to add an additional level of security to this process

Pricing

All prices listed are priced as "cash with order". Cash means a company check, money order, bank draft, PayPal or VISA/Master Card/Discover/American Express (We cannot accept international credit cards). Cash may be speedily transferred by bank wire transfer, call for details. Check may delay shipment 14 days for bank clearing time. Open account terms can be arranged (NET 10). Institutions and government agencies (NET 30). These terms are strictly enforced. A monthly late charge of 2.5% will be charged for all past due accounts.

The prices listed may have typographical errors and prices are subject to change without notice. Special prices may be limited to certain merchandise and quantities in stock.

TAX EXEMPTION

As a school or non-profit organization you may be eligible to make tax-exempt purchases. We'd be happy to help you modify your account accordingly. To qualify for tax-exempt purchases, you will need to supply us with a copy of your state issued tax exemption certificate. You must also have a MonkeyWrenchProShop.com login used solely for your organization's purchases and separate from any logins for personal use. You can send your completed and signed certificate along with the email address of your MonkeyWrenchPro.com login to us by one of two easy methods.

Repair and Service Terms:

As of September 6th, 2022, ALL incoming equipment needs to have been issued an RMA number by the repair department prior to their arrival. RMAs can be obtained by contacting the Repair department via the repair check-in form on this website.

There is a 2 hour minimum for all on-site service calls.

A diagnostic charge of $85.00 may apply to each piece of gear needing repair, whether completed by Monkey Wrench or others and will be applied to the repair of the item(s). All repairs carry a 30-day warranty on parts and labor. All repairs are strictly COD. Not responsible for fire or theft. Items not picked up within 30 days of notification of completion become the sole property of Monkey Wrench Productions and may be sold to cover repair costs.

Electronic repairs are unpredictable. Your device may be beyond repair or may be permanently damaged during repair and rendered useless. Circuit board components deteriorate over time and can fail without warning. Components can short-circuit, oxidize, corrode, and rust over time.

Formal repair estimates are not available over-the-phone, or on equipment we have not physically diagnosed at our shop or on-site.

While we try to be as thorough as possible with all estimates, we do not guarantee that our estimate is all-inclusive and final. Often, it is very difficult or impossible to identify every problem affecting a device until some work is performed. Our estimates may evolve or change during the course of servicing your device. We may complete equipment repairs without an estimate if the total for the repair is under $400 if the customer has not requested an estimate be provided before work starts.

We have two repair priority levels, Standard - We will repair your equipment on a first-come-first-served basis, and RUSH (+$300/Piece of Equipment) - Your equipment moves to the top of the repair queue or next in line if there are other RUSH Repairs in process. Please note that an Estimate may not be provided for RUSH repairs. This is normally due to time constraints, customer and manufacturer reply timelines, and/or our priority of getting the equipment repaired before your deadline.

RUSH repairs are not guaranteed to be completed before your deadline. Although we do everything in our power to complete them on time, there are factors outside of our control that may affect your repair such as material shortages, labor shortages, preceding RUSH repairs, etc.

Customers with accounts that are on Credit Hold or with overdue invoices are not eligible for RUSH Repairs.

Standard repairs are placed in our repair queue and wait their turn to be diagnosed and repaired. Work on Standard and/or RUSH repairs may be halted so that we can prioritize a different RUSH repair.

The prioritization of repairs is at the discretion of the repair technicians and takes into account many variables, some of which include: parts availability, customer or vendor response times, physical space available in the repair shop, shipping times, backorders, diagnostic times, work required, type of failure, manufacturer, time of day, customer request dates, time of check-in, estimating repairs, vendor ticketing systems, internet access, availability of support materials, dealership status, service center training, in-house demos, service calls, staffing shortages, and other variables not listed.

We do our very best to get your repairs completed in a timely manner. We politely request that you respond as quickly as is reasonable (1-2 business days) to all estimates that are awaiting approval and any communication from our repair department.

We require repair estimates to be approved or declined within five business days. If we don’t get a definitive response within that time, your repair or RMA may be canceled by the repair department.

We kindly ask that you be respectful to our staff.

We offer a 30-day warranty on all repairs. If, for any reason, an issue from the original RMA work order recurs within 30 days, we will perform the service again at no extra charge. All parts used to service your equipment are also guaranteed for 30 days from the date of the service. The guarantee does not cover issues that may develop within the guarantee period that are not related to services performed or to the original issue or symptom diagnosed and repaired.

Warranty Exclusions

We do not offer warranties or guarantees, explicit or implicit, on any of the following:

  • Any service using parts not purchased through Monkey Wrench Productions

  • Any software issues, including Firmware or Operating system installation

  • Any issues caused by firmware uploaders

  • New symptoms/issues not directly tied to the original service within the 30-day guarantee period

  • Installing new hardware or modifying existing hardware in the 30-day guarantee period voids the Monkey Wrench Productions warranty.

Limited Shop Warranty
Recurrence of original symptoms or issues caused by user error or negligence in the 30-day guarantee period, including but not limited to physical damage (drops, crushing, exposure to temperature extremes), liquid damage (spills on and liquid immersion of the device), electrical damage (improper grounding, contact with poorly performing or damaged electrical networks, over-voltage, under-voltage, lightning strike, etc.), and damage caused through installation or use of harmful software components (viruses, malware, spyware), voids the Monkey Wrench Productions Limited Shop Warranty
NOTE: If your device is physically tampered with or damaged within the warranty period, the Monkey Wrench Productions Limited Warranty is void. This includes but is not limited to internal damage not present at time of original repair, attempts to open or modify the device, using unapproved cables to power your device, or any other action, accidental or intentional, that could cause our repair to fail.
Some services performed by Monkey Wrench Productions may void your manufacturer’s warranty. By accepting service from Monkey Wrench Productions, you understand and agree that we are not held liable for voiding your device manufacturer’s warranty.

If your device qualifies for the warranty repair, you are responsible for shipping the device back to us and we will cover return shipping.

We pride ourselves on the speed of our repairs; however, many of the factors that determine the length of your repair are beyond our control. As such, we will attempt to service your device as soon as possible in the order it was received. Many of our repairs are completed in 1-48 hours, however we offer no guarantees of how long the service will take. Any references to service times on our website or in promotional materials are our best estimates based on previous experience and are not meant to represent an exact time frame or offer any guarantees of service time.

Any replacement parts not supplied by Monkey Wrench Productions are not covered by any kind of warranty or guarantee except as might be provided by the part manufacturer. By providing your own parts, you acknowledge that you understand and agree that any work we provide is not covered by the Monkey Wrench Productions Limited Shop Warranty or any other guarantee or assurance, explicit or implicit. You also agree to waive any liability for damage to your device caused by faulty parts or other part incompatibilities.
